DESCRIPTION:Concussion Beyond the Sideline: Screening\, Differential Diagnosis\, Rehabilitation\, Return to Learn & Return to SportConcussion is encountered across sports medicine\, orthopedic\, neurologic\, pediatric\, vestibular\, and outpatient rehabilitation settings\, yet concussion-specific examination and rehabilitation may receive limited dedicated attention during entry-level physical therapy education. This one-hour course provides physical therapists with a clinically focused overview of concussion screening\, differential diagnosis\, rehabilitation\, Return-to-Learn\, and Return-to-Sport. Participants will review the SCAT6 and SCOAT6\, identify common post-concussion clinical profiles\, and examine how cervical\, vestibular\, ocular-motor\, autonomic\, headache\, psychological\, and exertional impairments can contribute to persistent symptoms.
